Adaptational Dye-Job: Mario's mustache is shown to be a brownish shade of black in the teaser trailer as opposed to being just black like it is in the games.Here, they actually have their own kingdom and can actually fight. In Super Mario 64, they were seemingly just normal penguins living in the Slippy Slidey Ice Worlds of the game. Adaptational Badass: Downplayed with the penguins.Similarly, the only things the penguins wear are some belts and bandanas (and a crown and ermine cape for the king). Also appearing are Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong and Sebastian Maniscalco as Foreman Spike. The All-Star Cast of the film features Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.
